Privacy Policy
How we handle website information and the limits of current product data practices.
Last updated: October 27, 2026
This policy covers the HuiShen website and its account features. Product-specific notices also apply to meeting processing in the extension.
Who operates HuiShen
HuiShen is operated by an individual sole trader based in Australia. For privacy and age-eligibility questions, contact [email protected].
Information we collect
Account registration sends your email and password to Supabase Auth. The browser stores your login session. Supabase stores account preferences, plan status, minute usage and before-use acknowledgement. Meeting content and Profiles are not automatically uploaded to Supabase. If you email us, we receive the information you include.
Our hosting provider or other infrastructure providers may process basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type, and request logs, to deliver and protect the website. The details depend on the provider configuration.
How we use information
We use information you send us to respond to your inquiry, communicate with you, and maintain the security and operation of the website. We do not sell personal information collected through this website.
Cookies and similar technologies
The website is designed not to set first-party analytics or advertising cookies. Essential technical storage or third-party services (such as the web font provider linked by the site) may process technical information according to their own policies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Sharing and service providers
We may rely on website hosting, email, and infrastructure providers to operate this website and respond to messages. Those providers process information as needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the website, our users, or our rights.
Retention and security
We retain correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your inquiry and maintain appropriate records. We use reasonable safeguards for information under our control, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. To ask a privacy question or make a request, email [email protected].
Website and current Chrome extension data practices
The website offers email account registration and login through Supabase. Account features store language preferences, plan and meeting-minute records, and before-use acknowledgements. The website does not capture meeting audio or upload CVs. Google Fonts, hosting and email services may process technical information.
The current Chrome extension can capture meeting-tab audio and, if enabled, microphone audio for transcription by OpenAI. Text sent through the local proxy to OpenAI can include captions, questions, relevant CV and project text, job descriptions and speaking preferences. Meeting export and summary requests can include the selected meeting transcript. These product features do not run in this website.
Communication Profiles and meeting content remain in the extension’s local storage and IndexedDB, separated by account in the application. Supabase stores authentication, subscription, usage, language preferences and before-use acknowledgements. Login sessions are stored in the browser. Automatic retention and end-to-end deletion procedures are not finalised.
Retention and deletion limitations
Product retention periods and end-to-end deletion procedures have not yet been finalised. The extension has a local profile deletion control, but clearing live captions does not delete saved meeting history. No dedicated saved-meeting deletion control was found in the current implementation.
Deleting a local profile does not delete exported Word files, saved meeting copies or data already processed by OpenAI. Provider retention and deletion depend on the applicable API configuration and terms; no zero-retention setting or automatic provider deletion has been verified for HuiShen.
You can contact [email protected] to raise a privacy or deletion request. A monitored request-handling process and the ability to carry out deletion across all relevant systems still require verification. We do not promise a deletion period that has not been implemented.
Children’s Privacy
HuiShen is intended for users aged 13 and over, subject to applicable local laws. You must meet any higher minimum age required by law in your country or region.
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If you are under 18, you must obtain permission from your parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law. Being aged 13 to 17 does not by itself mean you can consent to all personal data processing.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child who is not eligible to use HuiShen, we will assess the situation and take appropriate steps to restrict processing and delete the information where required by law. This does not mean an automatic deletion system has been implemented.
If you have concerns about a child’s personal information, contact [email protected]. Do not include identity documents, a full date of birth or meeting recordings in your initial message.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or services change. We will update the date at the top when we make changes. If the product adds accounts or paid features, the applicable product privacy terms will be provided separately.
